The Xbox One might not be launching everywhere in November anymore, but millions of gamers will still be able to experience next-gen gaming later this year. To that end, Microsoft has created a list of all the games currently announced for its system to prove that it’s the one-stop shop for all your next-gen gaming needs.
In an announcement today, Microsoft said that there are currently 50 titles in development for the Xbox One. Not all of these games will be launch titles, and in fact, many of them won’t be out for at least another one to two years. That’s not important though as Microsoft is simply saying that it currently has the most announced next-gen games.
Here are some additional, and rather impressive, stats via Microsoft regarding Xbox One games:
So, what are these exclusive games? Microsoft lists Below, Crimson Dragon, D4, Dead Rising 3, Disney Fantasia, Forza Motorsport 5, Halo Xbox One, Killer Instinct, Kinect Sports Rivals, LocoCycle, Minecraft: Xbox One Edition, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Powerstar Golf, Project Spark, Quantum Break, Ryse: Son of Rome, Sunset Overdrive, Titanfall and Zoo Tycoon as all being either a straight up exclusive or a timed exclusive on the Xbox One platform.
As for games with exclusive content, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts and FIFA 2014 will all offer Xbox One players exclusive content in the form of early map packs and game modes.
It’s a pretty impressive roster, and one that will be hard to resist when the games start flooding in. Many gamers will also no longer have to deal with the moral conundrum of supporting Microsoft now that the company has reneged on pretty much every controversial Xbox One policy.
If you need more convincing, here’s a sizzle reel Microsoft put together showing off all the games coming to the Xbox One:
If that still hasn’t convinced you, you might as well check out some upcoming PS4 games. I have on good word that they’ll be really pretty, especially when compared to PSone games.
