“For years, years, years my dirty little secret was that I was addicted to pornography,” Terry Crews begins.
“It really, really messed up my life in a lot of ways,” he adds. “It was my secret. Nobody knew and that allowed it to grow.”
Explaining he was just 12 when he started viewing pornography, Terry Crews says he turned to it when he was lonely or depressed.
“Every time you look at pornography is a desire for intimacy,” he said. “You are trying to fight your feelings of being alone.”
Terry Crews says he has beaten his addiction, and that his reason for going public is in hopes he might help others struggling with an addiction to porn.

“I’ve been free of this thing probably going on six seven years now, thank goodness,” he says. “But now it’s become my battle to help other people who are going through the same thing.”
Terry Crews’ wife Rebecca worked hard alongside him to salvage their marriage.
“Love my boo!!!!!!” she captioned a photo of herself with Terry Crews in an Instagram post about a week ago.
Kudos to Terry Crews for reaching out in hopes of helping others who might be battling the same addiction he once fought.
If you’re wondering where else you might have seen Terry Crews, besides on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, he starred in several rather sexy Old Spice aftershave ads on TV.
