Teresa Giudice is still serving her 15-month sentence for fraud, but while she’s away, big changes are happening at home.
Teresa’s husband, Joe, has reportedly put their mansion up for sale once more after dropping the price to $2.99 million. The 1970’s home includes 10,000 square feet and over three acres of land, but the couple only paid $530,000 for it in 2002. The asking price has already been dropped twice since last fall, when Joe originally put it on the market.
Meanwhile, Teresa will likely be released next February, and then Joe will begin his sentence.
“She is holding up. It’s hard, but she’s trying to make the best of it,” a source told People Magazine. “The kids seem to be doing as fine with it as can be expected. Joe is doing his best to take care of the girls while she is away.”
Teresa reportedly spent the last bit of 2014 with her family as much as she could before turning herself in to begin her sentence, but she does have visitation rights with her children.
“She’s running back and forth with the four kids. She doesn’t even have a nanny. Her life is her kids and maintaining a happy home. Every day she’s trying to make them such a priority…What is to come in the future is going to be hard, there’s no question. Nobody is a substitute for Mom,” a source told People last November.
Teresa Giudice will reportedly host her own cooking show on Bravo once her sentence is finished, and will likely still make appearances on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, although it’s not clear how much she will be involved in the show.
