Eyebrows have raised, but not at the news that Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe intend to sell their house.
Instead, people are doing spit-takes at the intended price tag attached to the home.
It is being widely reported that the Giudices have put their mansion up for sale for an incredible $3.9 million.
The couple purchased for the house for $530,000 in 2012. This is a far and away more modest amount than the current price.
“This is a house that has a lot of bad memories for them,” a person close to the Giudices told E!
The source added that they believe that the family is hoping for a fresh start when the legal drama finally ends.
The couple did have extensive renovations done to the home prior to moving in back in 2008.

According to TMZ, those renovations do not justify the four million dollar price tag.
In 2012, the house was reportedly worth $1.2 million.
Exactly what could have happened in about two years to make it worth nearly FOUR times that amount?
The only answer that seems to make sense would be the couple’s ongoing fraud scandal.

For some reason, people enjoy spending a ridiculous amount of money on possessions that associated with infamous criminals and deviants.
With this reality television couple constantly in the headlines and on television, it may inspire such individuals to attempt to purchase their mansion.
In other words as ridiculous as the price tag may seem and as audacious as it may appear for the Giudices to do anything and everything to garner wealth for themselves in the midst of a money-related scandal…it will probably pay off.
The Giudices will learn their fate in October following yet another sentencing delay.
