It’s no secret that Taylor Swift adores her fans, but she proved just how much she loves them this weekend when she made a surprise appearance at one fan’s bridal shower.

Gena Gabrielle claims to be one of Swift’s biggest fans and has met her at numerous meet-and-greets over the last few years. Gabrielle decided she would invite Swift to her bridal shower and wedding, hoping but not believing that she would come. Swift couldn’t make the wedding but was not going to miss the bridal shower.

She flew all the way to Ohio on Sunday to make it to the bridal shower on time. Swift brought gifts for the couple and took the time to pose for photos with the bride and bridesmaids and other partygoers. Gabrielle was shocked but excited and shared the photos on her Instagram and Twitter pages.

Gabrielle appeared on the Today Show to talk about Swift’s appearance and said,

“I had no idea it was going to happen. Taylor said she planned it with her management and her mom. She said it was all worth it because my face was priceless.”

Gabrielle also Tweeted photos of the gifts that Swift brought her. They included a KitchenAid mixer, utensils, baking pans, cookware and a cookbook.

Taylor looked like she enjoyed her time at the bridal shower as well and her act of kindness has given many other celebrity fans hope that they may also get to meet their favorite celebrity at a special event.
