  • Looking for a little Stevie Nicks fix? If you are, you’re in for a treat. The rocker recently announced that she plans to release a double album this fall called 24 Karat Gold: Songs From The Vault. The album will be available on October 7. And if you’re into old school vinyl, a limited-edition double LP will be available on September 29.

The Fleetwood Mac frontwoman said in a statement, “Most of these songs were written between 1969 and 1987. One was written in 1994 and one in 1995. I included them because they seemed to belong to this special group. Each song is a lifetime. Each song has a soul. Each song has a purpose. Each song is a love story… They represent my life behind the scenes, the secrets, the broken hearts, the broken-hearted and the survivors.”

Nicks recently gave prospective listeners a preview of what to expect from the new album with the release of the piano ballad Lady. The song was originally recorded with Lindsey Buckingham and called Knockin’ On Doors.

Check out the lyric video for the song:

Nicks had previously released another cut off the album called The Dealer in early August.

Also, Fleetwood Mac have reportedly finished eight songs for what could shape up to be the band’s first studio album since Say You Will in 2003. The songs are coming at a good time as the band is preparing for their first tour in 17 years with all five prime members of Fleetwood Mac. The scheduled tour is called “On With the Show.”

What makes the reunion even more special is that Christine McVie is back with Fleetwood Mac after a 15 year hiatus. She had left the band due to a fear of flying.

The tour kicks off in Minneapolis on September 30. Here’s a complete list of all the concert dates.
