Sofia Vergara says that a beauty company should pay her millions for using her likeness to promote their products without her permission.

Vergara is suing Venus Concept, a company focused on “innovative products for non surgical circumferential reduction, wrinkle reduction, cellulite reduction, and skin tightening.”

According to the lawsuit, which was filed in Los Angeles on Monday, Vergara claims Venus Concept used her name, image, and likeness to advertise its Venus Legacy line of skin products.

Vergara is asking for $15 million in damages.

Apparently, one of her social media posts was misappropriated. The Wrap says that this post “was featured on an episode of Extra, as a doctor for Venus Concept promoted at length Venus Concept’s Venus Legacy non-surgical body contouring and skin-tightening treatment.”

In fact, Vergara says she tried the Venus Legacy treatment and it wasn’t for her.

“Vergara tried the Legacy treatment, but ultimately didn’t like it, finding that it was a waste of time and money with little in the way of any results — she would not use it again, and certainly would not endorse it nor agree to appear in an international advertisement campaign to promote it,” says the suit.
