Sharknado, or the B movie that conquered Twitter last summer, is getting a sequel–but you probably know that.
We already knew that both Tara Reid and Ian Ziering had signed on for Sharknado 2: The Second One, and now we have some more casting news to report–much of it coming straight out of 1997. Deadline says that the Sharknado sequel will star Vivica A. Fox, Mark McGrath, Kelly Osbourne, Andy Dick, Judah Friedlander, and Judd Hirsch. Andy Dick will be playing a police officer, so there’s that.

As you can see from one version of the Sharknado 2 poster, tweets matter. In fact, the SyFy original can attribute a majority of the success of the original Sharknado to internet buzz. Seriously, if you lived through the great Sharknado obsession of July, 2013, then you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Sharknado 2: The Second One will see the shark-powered tornado wreak havoc on New York City (hence the Statue of Liberty in the poster).
Production on the new movies is set to begin next week.
