Rumors are circulating that Shailene Woodley and Ellen Page have started dating.
The 22-year-old The Fault in Our Stars actress and Page have been friends for a long time, but a source said they recently took their relationship in a whole new direction and level.
While Woodley and the Juno star have not publicly said they are dating, the couple was recently seen having lunch in Los Angeles together, fueling more speculation.
OK! Magazine said the duo’s relationship has indeed taken a new direction, according to a source for the magazine.
“Ellen really leaned on Shailene through the coming out process,” said the source.

While Page, 27, is now very public about her sexuality, Woodley has only hinted at it so far. In a recent interview, Shailene said that she loves people for who they are, “not their sex.”
You simply cannot know what will make others happy. But you can always know for yourself.

Just keep moving forward and don’t give a shit about what anybody thinks. Do what you have to do, for you.

Page said her reason for being open about her sexuality is the desire to live life with her girlfriend like any other couple would want to do.
“The more time went by, the more something just happened, and Oh my god — I want to love someone freely and walk down the street and hold my girlfriend’s hand,” Page told Flare magazine.
Page admitted that even though she wanted to be open with the world about her sexuality and her love life, she was still conflicted about it.
“You think you’re in a place where you’re all I’m thrilled to be gay, I have no issues about being gay anymore, I don’t feel shame about being gay, but you actually do. You’re just not fully aware of it. I think I still felt scared about people knowing. I felt awkward around gay people; I felt guilty for not being myself,” she said.
