  • Selena Gomez got her athletic moves on for charity Friday and who knew she was so sporty?

The 22-year-old singer and actress donned her cap and glove for the sixth annual Big Slick Celebrity Weekend in Kansas City, Missouri, to raise money for the Children’s Mercy Hospital and Cancer Center.

Gomez joined other celebs like Eric Stonestreet, who is a big time Kansas City Royals fan, and Paul Rudd for the fun-filled softball game.

Kicked major softball butt, Selena ran the bases after getting a hit, looking super cute in her Royals light blue jersey, black leggings and sneakers.

Posting a few videos to Instagram, alongside some of her co-stars, Selena Gomez documented the star-studded event that was held before Friday evening’s MLB matchup between the Royals and the Boston Red Sox.

“We’re just actors, at the end of the day,” Eric Stonestreet shared after a visit at Children’s Mercy Hospital and Cancer Center with the children. “We’re not saving lives every day like the doctors and nurses here.”

All in all, the celebrities, which also included Rob Riggle, Jason Sudeikis and Hilarie Burton, had a great time for a great cause.treet

“Today was a good day,” Selena Gomez tweeted following the event.
