While Justin Bieber seems to be getting into all kinds of trouble lately, it’s nice to see two young stars who seem to have their lives together. Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have been friends since the early days of their careers on the Disney Channel. They recently went out to dinner together to catch up.

Demi showed off her new pink hair and Selena appeared not to be phased by her ex Justin’s recent run-ins with the law. The friends enjoyed dinner at Craig’s in West Hollywood and spent the rest of the evening out on the town.

Before their dinner, Demi showed off her new pink hair with a few selfies that she posted on her Twitter account. Both girls have always spoken highly of each other in interviews and agree that they share a special friendship.

When asked about Selena during an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Demi shared just how close the two are and the types of secrets they share, including those about Justin Bieber.

“We’re really, really close, and any advice I had for her, we talked last night and—you know—it’s between us. But I love her so much,” she said.

Selena also discussed her closeness with Demi saying, “Demi’s very, very strong. She’s the only person that I would tell the deepest, darkest secrets to. The only person.”

Selena and Justin’s breakup wasn’t necessarily messy, but Selena did make a few comments that lead fans to believe that the two were not likely to remain friends. Selena has not made a statement regarding Justin’s DUI and racing arrest, and probably won’t.

Anything she has to say about her ex will likely be said to her best friend Demi and will probably include a few laughs and jokes.
