  • A reunion of the “Seinfeld” cast members has been confirmed by none other than Jerry himself, who calls it a “secret” project. The secret’s out, Jer!

Jerry appeared on the Boomer and Carton Show on Thursday and allowed them to ask 20 questions about the reunion, but still managed to remain mysterious about the whole thing. The comedian says it’s not a Super Bowl ad, and it’s not for his show “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee”, but then again he might be totally lying.

“It’s not not those things, either. It’s a secret project,” he said. “I gave you more now than I’ve given anyone. I told you what it isn’t. And then I also told you that it isn’t not that, either.”

The question of a reunion arose after Jerry was spotted last month walking with actor Jason Alexander into Tom’s Restaurant, which was a very popular part of the ’90s show. Seinfeld wouldn’t say if all the cast members will be involved, but he says we will see it very soon, and that Larry David is involved, which is good news for fans of the show.

Of course, this won’t be the first time the cast members have gotten back together; everyone reunited on an episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” for a faux “Seinfeld” episode, making fans wish they’d just bring the show back already. Of course, the major players are all busy with their own projects; Jerry has the hugely successful “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee” to keep up with, as well. But for him, it will always be about stand-up, even still.

“If I don’t do a set in two weeks, I feel it,” he said in 2012. “I read an article a few years ago that said when you practice a sport a lot, you literally become a broadband: the nerve pathway in your brain contains a lot more information. As soon as you stop practicing, the pathway begins shrinking back down. Reading that changed my life. I used to wonder, Why am I doing these sets, getting on a stage? Don’t I know how to do this already? The answer is no. You must keep doing it. The broadband starts to narrow the moment you stop.”
