Scott Caan and his longtime girlfriend Kacy Byxbee are expecting their first child together.

According to US Weekly, Caan’s rep confirmed the pregnancy for the Hawaii Five-0 star.

“They haven’t been keeping it private really, she’s just been working on her business with her family so she hasn’t been around,” a source revealed. “She’s expecting very soon.”

The due date must be coming soon as Kacy was the guest of honor at a baby shower last weekend, and was joined by her friends and family in Los Angeles.

During an appearance on Chelsea Lately in January 2013, Caan opened up about his relationship with Byxbee while talking to Chelsea Handler. “She should get the purple heart because I’m a complete disaster,” he said.

Since Caan, who is also well known for his role in Ocean’s Thirteen, has been starring on the CBS series, he and Byxbee have been living together in Hawaii. While most would enjoy the laid back kind of life, Caan revealed that it is simply too slow for him. “Everything’s very slow-motion. I pick up the cup and they slowly pick of the cup,” he said. He added that everything is too relaxed there and there is no hustle, which he tends to like.

Scott’s father, the legendary actor James Caan, is also very excited about having his first grandchild. “His dad James is really close with him,” the source added. “He is very excited.”
