Scarlett Johansson is ready for some relaxation. She recently purchased a beautiful home in the Hamptons on New York’s Long Island. According to the New York Times, Scar-Jo’s new home resides on Shipwreck Drive, touching the Peconic Land Trust.

Johansson’s new beach retreat has four bedrooms complete with private balconies. And if that’s not enough to sell you on the luxury of this home, it sits on 1.4 acres of private land. The home isn’t just for summers with a “handsome stucco double fireplace that is especially useful during long winter weekends.”

The home also includes a fabulous kitchen with an island that flows into the dining area making it a prime entertainment spot.

This Hampton home is a perfect upgrade from her condo on Hollywood Boulebard that she recently sold for $470,000. Not only did the Avengers actress get $45,000 over the asking price, she received about $100,000 more than she paid for it in 2003.

The extra pocket change must’ve come in handy since the asking price on her new pad was set at $2.2 million. The home she shared with ex-hubby Ryan Reynolds sold for $3.5 million.
