Sandra Bullock has risen to the top of the A-list over the course of her career, which includes big summer blockbusters as well as quieter cult classics, and now Forbes has proven that she’s earning a big paycheck for her box-office drawing power.
Bullock came in at the top spot on Forbes’ list of top paid actresses, beating out The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence for number one. Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Angelina Jolie make up the top five. Gravity had a big hand in putting her at the front of the list, as she took a big chunk of the huge profits: about $70 million, give or take.
The Gravity actress turned 50 recently, although it’s hard to believe she’s anywhere near that age. She celebrated with several girlfriends in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and had a night out at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, where Southern Soul Allstars took the stage.
“They said they kept it [quiet] because she sometimes likes to just act like a normal person. They came out and danced and took a bunch of pictures,” said band member Dianne McManus.
Bullock’s next project will reportedly be a film about Brownie Wise, the woman who revolutionized the Tupperware industry by creating their now-infamous Tupperware parties.
