Salma Hayek’s daughter, Valentina, is a natural in front of the camera according to her mama. The 5-year old has charmed several people on set during Hayek’s jobs and she might just follow in her mother’s footsteps.

“Valentina loves coming on the red carpet with me and loves standing having her picture taken. She loves to have her red carpet moment and is already a very talented actor,” Hayek said.

But she knows what she’s doing on the other side of the camera, as well. “Grown-Ups 2” director Dennis Dugan says the 5-year old was a frequent visitor on set and gave the actors direction during filming.

“I had her daughter calling ‘action’ and ‘cut’ in the Jon Lovitz scene in the aerobics studio,” he said. “That scene was directed by her daughter!”

As for Salma, Dugan says she’s a very hands-on mom.

“She loves that little kid,” he said. “The kid goes where she goes, it’s not all nannies. It’s her. She’s great.”
