Now that Saints Row IV has successfully passed the Australian ratings board (minus one mission and cut off from the rest of the world), Deep Silver and Volition can finally settle into the business of promoting the game.

Recent trailers have shown just how over-the-top and ridiculous Saints Row IV will be. Today’s new video reveal isn’t a trailer or developer diary, and is instead the entirety of the first mission in the game. Where Saints Row The Third had a magnificent bank heist to kick off the game, Saints Row IV has a parody of recent super-serious military shooter games, including quicktime events, a door breach sequence, a heroic sacrifice, and extremely appropriate music.

The man narrating the footage at the beginning is Jim Boone, senior producer at Volition.
