Comedienne Rosie O’Donnell has a new reason to get healthy in the new year: a baby girl, born this past Saturday.

O’Donnell and her wife, Michelle Rounds, welcomed baby Dakota through adoption and posted photos on Twitter, expressing their excitement at the new addition to the family. O’Donnell is already mom to Vivienne, 10, Blake, 13, Chelsea, 15, and Parker, 17.

The couple married after Rounds was diagnosed with painful desmoid tumors, and O’Donnell suffered a heart attack last October when she stopped to help someone in distress. Called the “widowmaker”, the event was a wake-up call for the actress, who has since said that she wants her family to be healthy enough to enjoy one another in the coming years.
