Rosie O’Donnell was blasted by her daughter Chelsea in a recent interview with the Daily Mail. The 18-year-old claims her mom is two different people, and that she smokes weed.
“I find her not genuine a lot of the time. When we’d go out, she was a completely different person in public than at home, and I had a hard time with that. It’s like two different people,” she said. “She has this public persona; she will put this big smile on her face and try to be funny…whereas when we were home…she would either just be in her room, not engaging with us, or watching documentaries.”

Rosie O’Donnell went public with her concern when Chelsea went missing this summer. She begged for anyone with knowledge of where the 18-year-old might have gone to come forward or contact police.
“Chelsea stopped taking her medicine and is in need of medical attention.” Rosie’s rep added at the time that Chelsea, “lives with mental illness.”
Chelsea claims Rosie O’Donnell kicked her out, however.
“I wouldn’t say I’m mentally ill…I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety. She told me to leave and take my dog. Rosie knew I was planning to leave, that’s why I think she kicked me out,” she says.
Chelsea O’Donnell was found when her cell phone was traced to a man’s New Jersey home. Chelsea met him online, and he is an alleged drug dealer.
Chelsea continued in her interview with the Daily Mail, insisting that Rosie O’Donnell isn’t the person her fans love.
“Rosie would eat takeout with us, and if there were cookies in the house, she would eat them all. She was always coming into our rooms and asking if we had candy…I mean, she smokes weed–not around us–but the whole house smells like it,” she says.
“She has some speakers set up and she blasts Madonna, she’s obsessed with her. But she also like[s] to play Eminem and Chris Brown,” Chelsea adds.
Rosie O’Donnell is heartbroken over Chelsea’s interview.
