Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi Quaid, were taken into custody on Friday night while trying to cross the border from Canada into the U.S.

On Monday, Randy Quaid will face the music from some serious vandalism charges stemming from a 2010 offense.

It seems Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi, were squatting in the guest house of a home they formally owned when they were discovered and charged with trespassing and causing over $5,000 in damages to the house.

Randy Quaid and his wife skipped several court appearances after they were arrested, then ran to Canada where Evi was granted citizenship.

Randy Quaid, however, was denied citizenship.

This was a big hurdle for Randy Quaid, who insisted that he was going to be a victim of “Hollywood star-whackers” who killed his friends David Carradine and Heath Ledger.

Randy Quaid is the older brother of actor Dennis Quaid. He is best known for his roles in National Lampoon’s Vacation and Independence Day.

Randy Quaid is also the star of his own world, since being practically disowned by Hollywood, showing up in several videos that the couple have posted to social media.
