If you woke up today and thought, “Man, I’d really love to hear Gary Oldman read an excerpt from R. Kelly’s new autobiography “Soulacoaster,” then boy are you in luck.
Courtesy of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Academy Award nominated actor gives his all in a dramatic interpretation of a chance meeting between R. Kelly and the late, great Tupac.
Check it out below:
“YO ‘pac,” I yelled at the top of my voice.
He made a u-turn and jumped out of the car.
“What up, baby?” he asked.
“Just wanted to holler at you,” I said. “Just had to tell you that I love everything that you do.”
If that’s not poetry, then I don’t know what is. Of course, you’ll be able to see Oldman in another important role next Friday in The Dark Knight Rises, but I doubt anything could be as dramatic and poignant as this.
