Power Rangers star Ricardo Medina, Jr. was charged with murder on Thursday in the death of Josh Stutter, who was stabbed to death back on January 31, 2015.

Medina starred in Power Rangers Wild Force as Cole Evans, the Red Wild Force Ranger, and in Power Rangers Samurai as Deker.

Stutter and Medina reportedly got into an altercation over the Power Rangers star’s girlfriend, when Media allegedly stabbed Stutter several times with a sword. He is scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday, where prosecutors will ask for bail to be set at $1 million. If he is convicted he faces up to 26 years behind bars.

The Power Rangers star was initially arrested shortly after his roommate’s death, but was released pending more investigating.
