Pippa Middleton, sister to Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, has reportedly gotten engaged to her boyfriend Nico Jackson. Friends are breaking the story for the couple who have been dating for over six months. The engagement of the columnist and the 35-year-old stockbroker is apparently to be announced formally after Pippa turns 30 next Friday. Sources claim the couple wanted to hold off on the announcement to allow focus on William and Kate’s new baby.

“She couldn’t be more sure that Nico is the right man for her. They are such a good fit for each other and their families get on really well. Everyone is so happy for Pippa.”

In 2011, Pippa turned heads as a bridesmaid in a form-fitting Alexander McQueen dress at her sister’s wedding and fans are speculating whether Kate, 31, will don a bridesmaid dress for her little sis. The couple’s parents are completely supportive of their relationship, sources report.

The Daily Mirror-affiliated The Sunday People is credited with breaking the story. No response yet from William and Kate or the Middleton family, the Jackson family declined to comment.
