Olympic skier Picabo Street was arrested and charged with three counts of misdemeanor domestic violence and one count of misdemeanor assault for an altercation that took place between her and her 76-year-old father, Roland Street, two days before Christmas.

The 911 call made by Street was released on Thursday.

“He got his hands on me and I put him down the stairs,” she is heard telling the dispatcher in the recording.

A woman who Picabo Street refers to as “Mom” is heard in the background disputing her daughter’s version of the incident.

“I saw what you did to him,” the woman says.

“Oh my God, are you kidding me? He scratched me on my face,” Picabo Street replies.

Following their investigation, Salt Lake City prosecutors say Picabo Street was the aggressor in the altercation. She is accused of throwing her father down the stairs and locking him in the basement. Mr. Street suffered cuts and bruises on his face and neck.

Roland Street hasn’t been charged in the altercation, nor is he under investigation.

According to Utah Summit County prosecutor Ivy Telles, “That’s not to say that Mr. Street was not involved in the altercation at all, it’s just to say that she basically started it.”

A hearing is set for February 16. Picabo Street believes the situation is a private family matter is hoping to find an “amicable resolution” to it.

Picabo Street was the first American woman to win the World Cup downhill season title in 1995. She served as an analyst for Fox Sports during the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
