Hollywood was devastated today when Philip Seymour Hoffman, 46, was found dead in his Manhattan apartment from a heroin overdose. The Oscar-wining actor was beloved for his intense character portrayals in dramatic films such as “Capote,” “Doubt,” and “The Master.”

Although Hoffman’s death is being reported as a drug overdose, New York City Medical Examiners are still determing the exact cause of death. He was found after a 911 call his morning at 11:30am.
