For those who believed that Peyton Manning was finished after being dropped by the Indianapolis Colts two years ago, you gave up too soon. If anything, Manning will continue to prosper as an NFL quarterback even more than he has before. After tying the record for the most touchdown passes in a single game during the season-opener against the Baltimore Ravens, Manning accomplished to set the record for most touchdown passes through the first three games of a season. During Monday night’s game against the Oakland Raiders, Manning broke Tom Brady’s record with a touchdown pass to Julius Thomas, making it twelve touchdown passes so far this season.
12 TD passes through three games. No QB had ever done that in NFL history. Peyton Manning just did.

This accomplishment is just one of many for Peyton Manning. Throughout Manning’s 16-year career as an NFL quarterback, he has succeeded on a variety of levels. According to Database Football, Manning is among the top five quarterbacks with the most career passing completions, attempts, yards, and touchdowns. He has also received four Associated Press Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards, one Super Bowl MVP Award, and one Associated Press Offensive Player of the Year Award.
Though Manning has already accomplished so much in his career, he is indeed off to a tremendous start this season and could possibly have one of his best seasons yet. Most would agree, that he is one of the best quarterbacks to play this game, especially because he continues to impress everyone with each new success.
