Paris Hilton took to Instagram on Friday to share intimate moments from her sister Nicky’s wedding day, including shots of the bride-to-be getting ready.
Paris has already garnered hundreds of thousands of “likes” on the image-sharing site with the photos, which include a selfie of Paris in the hotel room and a closeup of Nicky’s custom-made shoes, which have “Mrs. Rothschild” embroidered on them. The duo had a full-on photo shoot before the ceremony, giving fans a glimpse at Nicky’s pre-wedding style–a chic silk dressing gown that read “bride” on the back–and a peek at her wedding dress.
The ceremony took place at London’s Kensington Palace, with the family gathering at Spencer House for the rehearsal the night before. Nicky wore a custom Valentino gown filled with lace and an elegant train, but her veil was a showstopper.
The couple met in 2011; James Rothschild is an heir to a British banking fortune, while Nicky is, of course, granddaughter to hotelier Conrad Hilton.
Paris Hilton is staying busy these days; the entrepreneur announced in March that she’ll have a Vegas residency this year as a DJ. Hilton said that a lot of people have a lot to say about her career, but they should understand where she’s coming from before they judge.
“There are so many rumors out there. People who think that I don’t play live. There are so many haters that make up so many stories. But anybody who comes and sees a show and watches behind the booth will see I know exactly what I’m doing. I’ve been training so hard for the past five years. I think I’ve really improved myself. Because I’m Paris Hilton, people assume, “Oh, she’s just this rich girl.” They don’t understand that I’ve actually been going to raves since I was 15 years old. I love music. I love entertaining people. I love partying. I love having a good time and having people around me have a great time. So I feel like DJing is kind of perfect for what I do,” Paris Hilton said.
