Paris Hilton and Ashley Benson are just two of many Hollywood celebrities mourning the untimely passing of makeup artist Jake Bailey. Bailey was discovered by his assistant on Friday, dead from what is believed to have been suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning. An official cause of death hasn't been determined, and is pending completion of an autopsy.

Paris Hilton, like many celebrities who knew and loved Jake Bailey, took to social media to share her grief.

"So sad, shocked & devastated to hear about @ByJakeBailey.? He was such an amazing person, an incredibly talented makeup artIst & friend. He was my makeup artist for the past 15 years. We travelled the world together, worked on so many beautiful projects & shared so many memories. Will miss him so much? My thoughts & prayers go out to all his family & loved ones. Heaven has a new angel. ?? #RIPJakeBailey ??" she captioned a photo of herself and other with Bailey.

Ashley Benson just saw Jake Bailey a week ago. Like Paris Hilton, she shared an Instagram post of herself with the late makeup artist.

"Honestly can't believe this. Was just with you last week. My sweet angel. #rip @byjakebailey you'll be terribly missed," she captioned it.

In addition to Paris Hilton and Ashley Benson, celebs including Octavia Spencer, Maria Menounos, and more shared their heartache over this untimely loss.

It's abundantly clear that Paris Hilton, Ashley Benson, Emmy Rossum, and a bevy of Hollywood stars are grieving not just the loss of a talented makeup artist, but the loss of a man they called their friend.
