Pablo Schreiber, who plays “Pornstache” on Netflix’s Orange is the New Black appeared on Made Man’s Speakeasy to speak (and knock back some drinks) with Paul F. Tompkins.
He calls his character “the absolute worst human being you may ever meet in your life,” and says the mustache is glued on, because he’d never wear one in public.
The interview is over twenty minutes long, and much is discussed, including his time on HBO’s The Wire.
At one point, he discusses the atmosphere on the set of OITNB, saying it is pretty much the opposite of the other male-dominated shows he has appeared on. It included “a lot of backstabbing, smiling,” and what he refers to as “woman stuff”.
While not one of the cast members bumped up to series regular, you can expect to see more of Pornstache in Orange is the New Black: Season 2.
