2014 is already off to a good start for former Pussycat Doll and X-Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger. Nicole is currently in the process of making a deal with Sony records that could be worth at least $4.5 million.

If the deal goes through, Nicole will be releasing her new album sometime in 2014. Nicole put a hold on her own music career to work as a judge on the U.K. X Factor, but according to sources close to Nicole, she is anxious to continue her singing and ready to release a new album.

According to one source, “Nicole was the most popular member of the ‘X Factor’ panel this year and is the real winner in terms of bankability. She is set to sign with Sony and can’t wait to get back to her music which took a back seat during ‘X Factor.’

Nicole found success as a Pussycat Doll, but was not so lucky when it came to her solo career. She released her debut album “Killer Love ,” in 2011, but it wasn’t as successful as she had hoped. Before that she had tried to relase a single titled Her Name is Nicole, which never even made it to the shelves.

Nicole and Sony are still working out the kinks of the deal but hopefully, Nicole is able to find some success with the label and her next album.
