People fall in love in mysterious ways indeed.
Following her breakup with longtime boyfriend and Formula 1 superstar, Lewis Hamilton, Nicole Scherzinger is reportedly in the early stages of dating British musical phenomenon Ed Sheeran.

The former Pussycat Doll got her heart broken this February and, like many people, turned to 24-year-old Ed Sheeran’s songs for solace.
“She was drawn to him over the last few months through his music. When she split from Lewis, she was heartbroken but ended up playing Ed’s songs on a loop,” said one of Nicole’s buddies.
The 37-year-old Scherzinger eventually told the British singer/songwriter how his songs helped her with her breakup and apparently, they’ve grown close since then, writing song lyrics and explicitly dedicating performances to each other.
“As far as he’s concerned they were in the early stages of dating and he’s been open about it with close friends and colleagues,” said one of Sheeran’s friends. “It may not develop beyond those dates but they’re definitely tight,” the friend continued.
The pair were raising eyebrows as Nicole posted a playful photo of them together on Instagram during the wee hours of the morning. The picture was taken after Ed’s last gig on July 12 at his record-breaking trifecta of shows at Wembley Stadium.
It didn’t end there, the two reportedly dropped by for a drink at Sheeran’s home town of Framlingham a few days later. Nicole’s friend said that the soprano enjoyed the experience, stating that the moment felt “so real”.
Coincidentally, Ed’s relationship with Athina Andrelos also faltered around the same time as Nicole’s relationship.
So far, only their friends came out and confirmed the juicy details. Both the singers’ representatives were either denying or being coy about the boiling romance between the two.
