Nick Gordon, the boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown, has been officially served with a $10 million lawsuit on behalf of the 22-year-old. The suit alleges that Gordon both physically abused Bobbi Kristina Brown and withdrew money from her bank accounts in the days before she was discovered unconscious in a bathtub in her Roswell, Georgia home. She never regained consciousness, and is now in a hospice facility living out her final days.

It was at a Starbucks in Longwood, Florida that Nick Gordon was served.

The New York Daily News reports Gordon was just leaving the coffee shop when a process server handed him a large manila envelope.

“What was that?” a bystander was heard asking, as Nick Gordon sat down outside of Starbucks.

“I have no idea,” he replied.

The lawsuit, which was filed by Bobbi Kristina Brown’s conservator Bedelia Hargrove, claims Nick Gordon caused “substantial” harm to Bobbi Kristina. It cited an incident during which he punched her in the face, “knocking out a front tooth and (dragged) her upstairs by her hair.”

It also claims Nick Gordon was very controlling of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter. He regularly answered her cell phone and wouldn’t allow her to make appointments or plans without his permission.

On the day she was discovered unconscious she had plans to meet up with a friend. She had earlier told the friend that Nick Gordon was “not the man she thought he was.”

Instead of meeting her friend that day, she and Nick Gordon got into what neighbors called an “explosive argument.”

“The loud argument ended and Brown was later found unresponsive and unconscious, face down in a bathtub, with her mouth swollen and another tooth knocked out,” the complaint reads.

After Bobbi Kristina Brown was discovered unconscious and hospitalized–in a medically induced coma–Nick Gordon withdrew another $11,000 from her bank account.

Bobbi Kristina Brown has been near death in a hospice facility for three weeks. No one knows how much longer she will hold on. A recent report on Nick Gordon stated he wanted to see Bobbi Kristina one last time before she passes away.

It’s highly unlikely that anyone–not Bobby Brown nor members of Whitney Houston’s family–will allow that to happen.

Meanwhile Nick Gordon has known this lawsuit was in the works. He has been assembling a legal team that includes Jose Baez. Baez represented Casey Anthony in her daughter Caylee Anthony’s murder trial. Casey Anthony was acquitted.
