Niall Horan received quite an honor from his hometown while he was back there visiting for Christmas. The town of Mullingar, Ireland presented the One Direction heart throb with a lifetime membership at its golf club.
Horan has golfed at the club since he was a young boy. He was definitely humbled by the town’s generous gift.
The ‘Story of My Life‘ singer shared his excitement–and his thanks–via Twitter after he finished playing a round of golf.

Given the three tweets that Niall Horan shared, it’s abundantly clear he was overwhelmed by the town’s gift. Do you suppose at some point he will show up to play a round or two with Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Liam Payne? Might that be what the gift was all about–a gesture that might result in a visit from all of the One Direction mates?
That’s likely not the case. Niall Horan’s hometown has supported him wholeheartedly ever since he became a star. Do you suppose they saw him dance in his underwear recently? A Vine that was released prior to a Christmas show in which One Direction starred showed Niall dancing in his tightie whities.
