The NFL Preseason is officially under way. On Thursday, the Broncos crushed the Bears (31-3), The Chargers beat the Packers (21-13), the Patriots beat the Saints (7-6), The Eagles beat the Steelers (24-23), the Ravens beat the Falcons (31-17), and the Redskins beat the Bills (7-6).

All of this means very little in the grand scheme of the NFL season, and reflects little on the talent of each team. It’s preseason – the time of year when coaches assess their teams’ talent, experiment with plays, and otherwise prepare for when it really comes time to get down to business. Fans know all of this, but there’s just something about having NFL (in any form) back after the long offseason, and the excitement is there regardless.

On Saturday, the Texans will play the Panthers, the Titans will play the Seahawks, the Rams will play the Colts, and the Cowboys will play the Raiders.

A few of the early preseason story lines include a Peyton Manning interception, a strong performance by Robert Griffin III, an injury to Michael Vick.

Here’s a sampling of what Twitter users are saying about the preseason so far:

Meanwhile, fantasy football players get to assess the talent themselves, and prepare for another fun season.
