Three new cast members will be making their way to “Saturday Night Live” soon, and all of them have ties to Chicago’s Second City, a comedy school focusing on improv.

Aidy Bryant, Tim Robinson, and Cecily Strong all have strong backgrounds in being funny on the spur of the moment, giving SNL fans hope that the next installment of SNL will be truly funny, something which hasn’t been its strong point since the days of Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, and Jimmy Fallon.
