Several towns in New Jersey experienced a small-magnitude earthquake early this morning, causing panic in an area still trying to clean up in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

The tremblor measured around a 2.0 on the Richter scale and struck the towns of Ringwood, Mahwah, Wanaque, Oakland, Franklin Lakes, West Milford and Paterson.
