Missing pregnant woman Aubrey Andrews was believed to have been found inside her car on Monday in a Walmart parking lot in Sacramento, but police have only just confirmed that it is indeed her body.

Andrews was last seen on December 6 and was reported missing by her husband, Edward. She was nearly nine months pregnant, but a cause of death has not been released. Officials say there was no reason to believe foul play was involved judging by the condition of her body.

“There were no obvious signs of foul play, but we are not ruling anything out,” Officer Justin Brown said.

20-year old Andrews left her home alone on December 6 and, according to her husband, didn’t take any personal items other than her purse. However, the day after she went missing, he claims he found her purse on their doorstep.

A former neighbor of the couple told the media that she worried for Andrews’ safety because she and her husband argued a lot. Andrews reportedly filed a restraining order in January after a fight became physical, and allegedly filed for divorce later in the year but never followed through with it.

The couple have a 3-year old son together.
