Former Miss Austria Ena Kadic has died after falling down a mountain.

She was 26.

Kadic was jogging in Tyrol on Friday when she fell off the side of Bergisel mountain near Innsbruck, according to authorities. Reports indicate that shortly after falling, she somehow managed to contact her brother.

She was found unconscious and badly injured.

She was airlifted to an Innsbruck hospital, where she clung to life for a few days. She died on Tuesday.

According to doctors, Kadic sustained severe head injuries, damage to one lung, and pelvic injuries.

Kadic won the title of Miss Austria in 2013, and went on to represent the country in the Miss World 2013 pageant.
