Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton shocked fans on Monday with an announcement saying the two country music stars have split. Now rumors about Miranda having cheated on The Voice coach are running rampant. One such rumor says Miranda Lambert cheated on Blake Shelton with fellow country star Chris Young.

That’s a rumor Young vehemently denies.

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton issued a joint statement on Monday about their split. Social media, news programs, and celebrity publications are all talking about the end of their romance and speculating about what went wrong.

“This is not the future we envisioned,” the former couple said in a statement to the Associated Press on Monday. “And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
