Miranda Lambert has had a rough year, no doubt.
But, it seems Miranda Lambert has been healing pretty well and her marriage and divorce from Blake Shelton is slowly falling out of the forefront.
At least Miranda Lambert is at that stage where she is focused on the good of the situation.
In a recent interview, Miranda Lambert explained just where she is at in the healing process.
She said, “Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try.”
She added, “I had a great relationship with an amazing man, so I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted.”
However, Miranda Lambert admitted that it’s not always easy.
She said, “Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, ‘Man, this sucks right now.'”
Well, it seems for the holidays at least, Miranda Lambert is drawing strength from a familiar home and a reliable comfort element: her family.
On her way home for Thanksgiving, Miranda Lambert shared a pic to Instagram showing her, a friend and her brother traveling and clearly having a good time.
It looks like Miranda Lambert is really enjoying that road trip! There’s nothing like going home for the holidays to lift one’s spirits after a split. Especially when your ex has already moved on.
Now, that’s a great mom.
