Miranda Cosgrove, 20, reunited with fellow School of Rock cast mates for the 10th anniversary of the hit film starring Jack Black.
Cosgrove Tweeted several photos from the screening and after-party, including some group shots that she added via Instagram.
School of Rock, released in 2003, starred comedian Jack Black as a rocker-turned-substitute teacher who creates a rock band with his class. The movie’s cast included Black, Cosgrove, Joan Cusack and Sarah Silverman, just to name a few. Directed by Richard Linklater, the film grossed nearly $20,000,000 in its opening weekend in the U.S.
Thursday, (August 29) Cosgrove, Black and the rest of the “band” joined back up at the Paramount Theater in Austin, TX for a 10th anniversary screening. Nearly 1000 fans of the movie and soundtrack showed up to watch the hilarious film again. The showing was sponsored by the Austin Film Society.
Directly after the film, there was a cast “Question and Answer” session at the Gibson Austin Showroom, along with a VIP after-party.
The band performed together once again, playing their hit from the movie, also titled, “School of Rock.”
You can watch the video of the crew singing together again from the Tweet below.
