  • Miley Cyrus got herself a new tattoo, which, if you’ve been keeping count, is the teenager’s fifteenth ink job thus. So why should anyone really care at this point if the former Disney darling got something else etched into her flesh? Maybe because she opted for a quote from Theodore Roosevelt this time around, which is sure to inspire some truly stimulating conversations.

So what does the tattoo say? According to MTV Style, the quote reads, “So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat”. In case you were wondering — and I’m sure most of you are skipping ahead to the images — the quote comes from Roosevelt’s Citizenship in a Republic speech, which took place way back in the year 1910.

Enough about all of that boring history garbage, right? You don’t care about the stuff that happened before you were born. What an astronomically silly idea! Instead, remove your eyeball from this here text and take a gander at some images of Miley strolling down the street. Sure, you can’t really see the tattoo in all its glory, but rest assured that’s it there. Somewhere, Teddy Roosevelt is smiling through the polio.
