“I can do whatever I want because I’m starting as a new artist now,” said Miley Cyrus in her latest project, “Miley: The Movement.”
Pop sensation, Miley Cyrus is no stranger to the spotlight. Whether people are gossiping about her recent split from fiancĂ©, Liam Helmsworth or discussing her very racy, slightly odd performance on the 2013 VMA’s, it’s no secret the young singer is in the center of the media’s attention. And it seems that the singer isn’t stepping out of the spotlight anytime soon since MTV has tirelessly spent the last four months following the sensation with cameras, capturing everything the “twerk” star has done and said.
MTV’s documentary on the star, “Miley: The Movement,” is premiering on Wednesday, October 2nd at 10pm ET/PT. The doc captures the star as she takes on critics and fans as she climbs her way to the release of her new album, “Bangerz” which is out only 6 days after the documentary premier on Oct. 8th.

This new album is a lot for both Cyrus and fans to look forward to since it’s her first release on RCA Records.
Fans will have a little something else to look forward to since MTV will dedicate its entire AMTV morning music block on Wednesday, Oct. 2 to Cyrus. There will also be a special “Miley: The Movement” Countdown for a full 24 hours prior to the premier which includes music videos, clips of live performances and interviews.
