Miley Cyrus is internationally-known for her stage performances; however, the star recently had to cancel some of the highly-anticipated tour dates from her Bangerz tour. The popular performer has been hospitalized after developing an allergic reaction to medication. As a result of the hospitalization, the former Disney star cancelled the April 15th show in Kansas City, Missouri, as well as the St. Louis show much to the disappointment and concern of her fans.
The Sprint Center in Kansas City released the following official statement regarding Tuesday’s cancelled performance.
“Miley Cyrus’ “Bangerz” tour date scheduled for tonight, April 15, at Sprint Center in Kansas City has been cancelled. Cyrus has been hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics and has been placed on medical rest by her doctors. She will not be able to perform as scheduled. Refunds for tickets will be available at the point of ticket purchase. Tickets purchased online or by phone will be automatically refunded.”

The 21-year-old singer will hopefully recuperate quickly as her next performance is scheduled for Friday in Nashville, which just happens to be her hometown.
