Mila Kunis is reportedly set to co-produce a show about the designers behind the Juicy Couture label, and she’ll be partnering up with some of the people behind Gossip Girl.
Kunis, Stephanie Savage, and Josh Schwartz will reportedly work on the show, which is based on the memoir The Glitter Plan by designers Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor. The women talked about their rise to fame in the book, which started out of an apartment for $200 and rose to become a global phenomenon. Eventually, the partners sold the company to Liz Claiborne for $50 million.
The show–Made In L.A.–will reportedly be a half-hour comedy and has been picked up by Freeform (ABC Family), but it’s unclear who will star.
Mila’s production company, Orchard Farms, has had quite a bit of success since it was formed just last year, with six projects on its roster. The actress and husband Ashton Kutcher have had a big year of their own, not only with their careers but as new parents. Mila made the rounds to several talk shows after giving birth to daughter Wyatt and talked about how much everything had changed.
Kunis also has her own acting projects in the works, including a movie tentatively titled Bad Moms. The film also stars Kristen Bell and Christina Applegate and follows three moms who decide to relieve some stress by going a little wild.
Mila and Ashton were spotted near the set in New Orleans, giving locals a little thrill during their afternoon date. The couple appear happy these days despite several rumors that Ashton visited a massage parlor and was possibly unfaithful to Mila. A source even told AceShowbiz that the betrayal had affected the couple’s plans to try for a second child.
“They’ve been ready for another for a while. This scandal came at a bad time,” the source said.
However, Kutcher’s rep has reportedly vehemently denied the rumors.
