  • According to TMZ, Michael Jackson has been sued in San Diego in what appears to be a bogus lawsuit. A convicted criminal is attempting to get $1 billion, claiming Jackson exploited personal details about her life in his songs and never paid her royalties.

Kimberly Griggs claimed to have had an intimate relationship starting 1979. According to her, some of his greatest albums chronicle their love affair. She names “Off the Wall”, “Thriller”, “Bad”, “Dangerous”, and many songs from his greatest hits album, “Number Ones”.

According to her, she told Michael about being angry that he would expose the truth of their relationship in his songs. To which, Michael said he would give her the rights to his songs. She filed a handwritten lawsuit in San Diego, wanting $1 billion in damages for leaving her out of the will when he passed.

Griggs has spent many years behind bars for crimes including burglary and robbery. Even if these claims were true, there would be no way to prove it. Michael Jackson’s estate has not responded.
