Meghan Trainor covered Justin Bieber’s Christmas song ‘Mistletoe’ during an appearance at 1LIVE radio in Germany, and garnered the ‘As Long As You Love Me’ singer’s approval. This comes on the heels of Bieber covering Meghan Trainor’s hit song ‘All About That Bass‘ in November–a remix that had Meghan beyond excited.
“I got the call [that he remixed the song] … They said, ‘Check your email,’ and I freaked out, and I played it like a hundred times,” she said during a recent interview.
Meghan has long wished she could collaborate on a song with Justin Bieber. Might his recognition of her cover of ‘Mistletoe’ means she’s moved even closer to reaching that goal?
Nice job @Meghan_Trainor. #Mistletoe 🙂 http://t.co/XRiOkIxEXN

Could you see Meghan Trainor and Justin Bieber collaborating together? What if the two collaborated on something more than music? Would that have Selena Gomez up in arms? After all, Meghan Trainor is admittedly single.
“I am single. I can’t find a boy who wants to date me … my dad was like, ‘Well, they are probably too intimidated.’ And I talked to another artist and she was like, ‘I didn’t get hit on for two years,’” Meghan said recently.
Surely Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez will find their way back together, and Meghan Trainor will find a man worthy of her beauty, talent, and spunk. In the meantime, however, it would be fun to hear Meghan and Justin do a song together. It will be interesting to see if such a concept ever comes to fruition.
