Meghan Trainor, 'All About That Bass' Singer, Suffering Hemorrhage On Vocal Chords, Postpones Gigs

Meghan Trainor has had to postpone a couple of gigs after it was discovered that she was suffering a hemorrhage on her vocal cords.

Trainer, 21, announced Thursday night via Instagram that doctors diagnosed a hemorrhage on her vocal cords, saying that she will need to rest her voice to allow healing. The diagnosis forced the singer to postpone two gigs of her MTrain Tour.

"I have never missed a tour date before so this is killing me," she told fans on Instagram. "I love you all very much and want to get healed quickly so I can show you this amazing tour we've been working on."

Meghan apologized to fans for canceling the gigs and letting fans down.

Meghan Trainor also posted a video to Instagram from New York where she expressed her thoughts via text on her phone screen.

The All About That Bass singer also posted a video to Instagram from New York City, where she is getting a doctor's second opinion, sharing her distress via text on her phone screen.

"So frustrated, but cant make any noise," she captioned the pic.

These singers need to give those powerful voices a rest. Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger and Sam Smith have also had issues with their vocal cords this year.

On Friday, Meghan thanked her "Megatronz" for "sending so much love" via Twitter.

Give it a rest Meghan Trainor. Your fans just want you to heal up properly.
