Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have split up, and rumor has it she might have to pay him spousal support once their divorce is final. Is there any truth to this rumor?

According to Monday’s report from TMZ, there certainly is. In fact, they state that it’s practically certain Megan Fox will wind up paying spousal support to her ex.

It seems Brian Austin Green has suffered from vertigo ever since he and Megan Fox were involved in a head-on car crash with a drunk driver late in 2014. He has had little to no work since then as a result of the accident.

Legal analyst John Burns tells The Huffington Post that Green’s health condition can, in fact, play a strong role in the couple’s divorce settlement.

“It’s going to be huge,” Burns says. “First of all, spousal support is intended to allow both people to maintain the same lifestyle they had during the course of the marriage, post-marriage and here you have Megan Fox, who made tons more money than the gentleman here, Brian Austin Green, so he was going to get spousal support no matter what. But the vertigo claim adds another element because he can’t work, he can’t do anything else … he needs to maintain that same lifestyle and he can’t do it because he can’t work. That’s going to increase the amount of money that Megan Fox has to pay out.”

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have two children together. Neither the Transformers star nor Green had a prenup.

How do you think Megan Fox will feel if ordered to pay spousal support to her ex in their divorce settlement? Will the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles star fight it in court if it is determined she must pay up?
