Megan Fox took a stand for her friend and Transformers costar, Shia LaBeouf.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles star told the New York Daily News Sunday she doesn't worry a bit about the beleaguered actor.

"I'm not worried about Shia. I love my Shia. He's perfectly fine," said Fox. "I haven't talked to him in a couple of years, but I don't worry about him."

"He's a brilliant kid, talented and funny," the 28-year-old continued. "There's no reason to worry."

While Fox may not be worried, others have questioned LaBeouf's antics of late.

In February, he arrived on the red carpet at the Berlin Film Festival's Nymphomaniac premiere wearing a brown paper bag over his head with "I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE" written across the front of the bag. That same month, he co-created an art piece in Los Angeles entitled "#IAMSORRY."

In December, LaBeouf came under fire for plagiarizing illustrator Daniel Clowes' work for his short film

And in June, he was arrested in New York City in a bizarre appearance at a performance of Cabaret. LaBeouf was escorted from the performance and now faces charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing. The case is pending until Sept. 10 while attorneys try to negotiate a plea deal.
